I was born in Edmonton, Alberta.

I spent most of my childhood in the suburbs outside of St. Louis.

My family moved to the Pacific Northwest in 1995 and I absolutley love it here!

I was a Rotary exchange student to Chile in 1997-98. It was an incredible experience, and I am now active in the Issaquah Rotary Exchange Program.

I earned a BA from Seattle University in History and Political Science, graduating in 2003.

I went on to get my Masters in Teaching, graduating in 2005.

Travel is one of my biggest passions! Antarctica is the only continent I haven't visited.

I love to ski, but I am much more of a chicken than this skier!
