Activities - Leadership Class
Leadership is class designed to help students identify and develop specific leadership skills that will aid them as they strive to become leaders in our school, as well as in life. The course provides students with the opportunity to generate original ideas, implement them into successful projects and reflect on their effectiveness.
The assignments for this course include activities in public speaking, assembly planning, community service, goal setting, problem solving, group process, stress management, student and staff recognition, project planning, time management, communication skills, managerial skills, self-awareness, human relationships and current leadership literature.
Students must earn their grades in Leadership class. Grades will be earned through the completion of curriculum-based lessons, service on various Leadership committees and the demonstration of character skills.
